National averages for diesel fuel hit there highest pricing point since August 2008 in the week ending April 9th. The average price is $4.148 per gallon, up 7 cents from where they were a year ago.
Prices rose in all regions except the West Coast, where prices dipped to $4.40. The sharpest rise came from the New England region, where the price per gallon rose 1.6 cents to $4.278. Crude oil is currently priced at $102.46 a barrel.
