Tracking & Trace System

e-TRACK is a “best-of-breed” container tracking and tracing module, second to none.  This system is superior to any similar system offered by mega carriers, by any measurement criteria such as ease of use, information content, refresh rate, and performance.  Completely web-based, shippers, agents, consignees, vendors, and any other interested party may access the system from any place in the world, without the need for any custom software except a browser, internet connection, user ID and password.

Any line that uses VGLS globally will enjoy virtual real-time customer service information on its website without the need to move data from foreign, third party systems into e-TRACK via EDI. VGLS and e-TRACK are integrated seamlessly and no intervention is required by users or IT staff. Users of other liner systems can extract data from their systems and send the information to e-TRACK in the EDI formats prescribed by Vilden.

Any NVOCC using e-CLEAR can get cargo status based on their house BL, container number, or PO number.  Generally, NVO’s don’t track equipment so equipment tracking is optional for NVO customers.
