U.S. Diesel Prices Possibly Reached Peak

After 10 consecutive weeks of increases, the average price of diesel in the U.S. stayed nearly flat last week. The average cost per gallon is at $4.132, 27 cents higher than the same period a year ago. Prices slipped in the lower East Coast, the Gulf Coast and California, but remained above $4. The Rocky Mountain region saw the only gains, with the cost per gallon rising 2.5 cents to $4.242.
