U.S. Diesel Continues Upward trend

The average U.S. price for diesel rose 6.3 cents last week, continuing a trend that began 6 weeks ago. The average cost per gallon is up to $4.089, with prices up 26.9 cents from a year ago. The price rose across the nation, with the West Coast seeing the largest increase, with the average cost jumping to $4.353. The Gulf Coast is the only region that did not see their price per gallon rise above $4.
